Decades fly by. When I started out, there was no thought of keeping an inventory of my work. Not till I got along in years, around the turn of the millennium (I was 72), when we moved to smaller quarters and I became ill did I feel the need to really count and make lists of my assorted works. Not till I was forced to consider my own mortality. There's no taking it all with me. That's how a lot of my work ended up in the archival collections listed below. Some were sold; most were donated.
In addition to the work held and inventoried by the organizations below, I still hold onto a sizable archive which I use for my current book art efforts. The inventories I've taken and the chronologies describing the order of that work may be made available upon request.
Otherwise, my work is in the following archival collections:
The Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn, NY;
The Museum of Modern Art Library, NYC, NY;
The New York Public Library at 42nd Street NYC NY;
Special collections, Albertsons Library, Boise State University, Boise, Idaho;
Library of the Kinsey Institute, Bloomington, Indiana;
Fine Arts Library, Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana;
Islip Art Museum, Irish Lane, Islip, New York;
Leslie-Lohman Gay Art Foundation, NYC 10012;
The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Trans-gender Community Center Archives, NYC, NY.
